How to take lecture notes?
1. Evaluate your note-taking skills
-consider the content
-consider the organization
         2. prepare before taking notes
         3. become an active listener
            -deciding you want to listen
            -paying attention to the lecture
           -selecting relevant information
           -ignoring the distractions around you
           -interpreting the information to make it meaningful
           -condensing the information before writing it down
           -organizing the information under the appropriate headings or subheadings
